Your guide to an ultimate night out in Hereford this Christmas

  • Firstly, and most importantly treat yourself to a lie in so you are fresh and ready for your day ahead.

  • Around mid-morning head to Rebel Rock in Faraday Road to have your hair and make-up done.

  • Head into town and have a superb lunch at The Cellar Door in Widemarsh Street and maybe a glass of wine or two

  • Next up will be the all-important outfit. For him, try Calandra’s in Church Street and for her step next door to View also in Church Street

  • Venture home and make yourself beautiful.

  • Early evening book a taxi with Blue Line Taxis Hereford on 01432 343435 straight to Left Bank Village, Bridge Street, Hereford

  • At Left Bank enjoy a pie and chips (or mash and gravy) from our festive Pieminister menu in De Koffie Pot washed down with a pint of real ale.

  • Let your pie go down whilst sat around a cosy fire pit and get ready for the night ahead.

  • Head up to Charles Bar, Left Bank’s rooftop cocktail and wine bar. Here you can choose from an exclusive menu of cocktails or an extensive range of wines. Maybe you will try the Bubble-gum Tini or The After Eight.  A bottle of Pinot Grigio or Merlot Grenache?

  • Then, dance the night away in our Speakeasy bar, the trendiest new addition to Hereford’s Nightclub circuit. The dark + devilishly exciting tones of Left Bank’s Speakeasy are open Fridays and Saturdays for moves, laughs and losing inhibitions.

  • Finally stay safe and ring Blue Line for a taxi home.

Know your Coffee at De Koffee Pot!

At De Koffee Pot we use James Gourmet Coffee from Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire, it’s all roasted by Peter James who founded the company in 1999.

On our menu, we have;

  1. Latte: made up of an espresso with a larger ratio of steamed milk to milk foam, if you want a yummy milky hug in a mug then this is the one for you!
  2. Flat White: made up of an espresso and steamed milk. The Flat White is full of smooth velvet bubbles and is like a yummy espresso.
  3. Cappuccino: made up of an espresso with a smaller ratio of steamed milk to milk foam. The Cappuccino has a thick layer of white foam that you have to break through to get to your coffee!
  4. Americano: made with an espresso and hot water. If you like a good coffee then to some this may be inferior to a filter coffee.
  5. Mocha: made win an espresso, hot chocolate and steamed milk. This is great if you want a kick with your hot chocolate! It’s the perfect mix of coffee 20 a./
  6. and chocolate.
  7. Macchiato: made with an espresso and a little bit of milk foam. A macchiato is the perfect afternoon drink to perk you up, it doesn’t quite have the strong kick of an espresso, instead its nice and subtle.
  8. Espresso: this is a straight up espresso! This is the base of all of the Coffee’s and is great on its own if you want a quick buzz.
