Charles’ Bar Saturday Sessions presents Voodoo Lab

Another DapJam is a hand clappin’, foot stompin’ night of music laid down by Tridecka Jams DJ’s ‘TheLowEnd’ and ‘Mr Morris’ with an emphasis on the Dark Arts of Funk & Hip HopCharles Bar Saturday Sessions presents Voodoo Lab - The Left Bank Village

Tridecka Jams ( www.facebook.com/TrideckaJams) is a collective of 3 DJs; TheLowEnd, Mr Morris & Jake Aprea who have been close friends for many years and were brought together by their love of music. Jake Aprea and TheLowEnd have been side by side on many a stage in various bands, most recently and notably Hannah Dallas & The Button Down Souls. Mr Morris has pushed vinyl in record shops for as long as he can remember, has been DJing for about 7 years and is also one of the promoters, organisers and DJs of the popular vinyl only night ‘Revolution’ in Worcester.

With roots firmly in Mod culture, Tridecka Jams have enjoyed success providing the soundtrack to Mod, Soul and 60s parties in Worcester, Malvern and the ‘burbs surrounding Birmingham and The Black Country. As a side project TheLowEnd and Mr Morris kicked off ‘Another DapJam’ to explore their love of Hip Hop, Funk and Groove, with Jake Aprea making the occasional, but very welcome guest appearance. For the last 18 months Another DapJam has been putting on ‘ill behaviour’ every month in Hereford. ‘ill behaviour’ whilst being predominantly a hip hop night, was still grounded in their roots of soul and funk.

Now, Mr Morris and TheLowEnd embark on their next project, ‘Voodoo Lab’. It’s another DapJam full to bursting of the finest cuts of Funk, Soul, and the deepest and funkiest millennium era House to take the party into the late night hours.

Whether the night is Mod, Motown, 60s, Soul, Funk or Hip Hop, you know the Jam is gonna be Dap.

Grab a napkin hommie, you’re about to get served.
