George Egg

“A hugely entertaining variety turn” The Guardian

Wildly brandishing the worlds’ second largest briefcase containing a battery of ridiculous props, George bounds onto the stage to perform one of the most original, interesting, innovative, and sweetly whimsical comedy performances you are ever likely to see. A true cross between modern alternative stand-up comedy and old-school music hall variety.

George Egg has been a professional stand-up comedian for the last two decades. He has an extremely successful solo show with which he has toured in Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Austria, France, Hong Kong, New Zealand and even India as well as extensively in the United Kingdom both on the stage and on the television. More recently has been the support act for Lee Mack, Micky Flanagan and Jack Dee.

JAKE LAMBERT

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT JAKE…

Jake (he says, pretending someone else wrote this to seem more professional) started stand-up after gaining a following on Twitter under the pseudonym @LittleLostLad. He (I) then decided to put down his (my) iPhone and pick up a microphone. It has proven to be a great choice with him (me) making it to the semi-finals of the BBC New comedy Award within 6 months of his (my) first gig, allowing him (me) to perform on both BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 2.

His (my) joke writing has lead him (me) to write for such shows as 8 Out of 10 Cats, BBC’S Mock The Week, and E4’s Virtually Famous.

Jake (I’ll stop with this now) has gone on to receive a plethera of nominations including The Magners New Comedian of the Year 2015, and the prestigious Leicester Mercury New Act of the Year 2015.

He also made it to the final of the English Comedian of the Year and the Amused Moose Laugh Off Final, 2016.

In 2017 Jake supported Seann Walsh on his One For The Road tour.

He also supported Rob Beckett on his Mouth of The South tour.

He was also asked to support Romesh Ranganathan on his tour, Irrational.

He was also (this is getting repetitive) asked to support Kerry Godliman on her Stick Or Twist tour.

In 2018 Jake can be seen supporting Tom Allen on his Absolutely Tour.
