We have FREE live music every Friday on the bandstand in the courtyard or upstairs in De Koffie Pot depending on the weather.
No matter what kind of a week you have had, be sure to meet your buddies for a pint around the firepits and enjoy the acoustic serenade.

Blind River Scare20th Sept – Blind River Scare

Tim Manning (AKA Blind River Scare) is a South Wales based singer/songwriter playing Americana, Folk, Alt-Country & Roots influenced original songs and in genre covers .
He writes heartfelt tales of love, loss and life coupled with proper song-craft that sounds both timeless and contemporary.
Promoting releases such as ‘Killing Time’ ‘The Straight and True’ ‘The Point Of No Return’ and the latest CD ‘Pastures New’ in the good old fashioned way has seen Tim travel the length and breadth of the country both headlining and supporting touring acts, in doing so creating a distinct niche for himself on the UK music scene.

This is what RnR Magazine had to say about Pastures New …
“Formed in 2005 in Newport, South Wales, Blind River Scare is a vehicle for the very talented singer and guitarist Tim Manning, backed by Stuart Loosemore on stand-up bass and Mike Hopkins on Harmonium, Hammond organ and mandolin.
Together they create a very effective and big, authentic-sounding acoustic Americana and Alt. country sound, with Tim’s resonator guitar playing adding a pedal steel like sound at times (try ‘Restless Soul’ to hear it at its best). His voice is suitably world-weary and convincing, with the six songs all original. Pastures New memorable, often bluesy – take a listen to ‘Sideways Slide’ – and always rootsy; just pick any track at random”.

27th Sept – Joe Mitchell
Since the age of 15, when he was playing around the pubs and clubs of his native Scotland and the North of England, Joe Mitchell has always been an accomplished performer. In his early twenties Joe moved to London where he would develop his ‘chops’ in studios around the capital, working on various projects (film, TV, capital, working on various projects, albums) playing all styles of music. After forming a band, Fivestones, with his song writing partner, they landed a recording contract in New York. Joe spent the next couple of years in the US, playing in small clubs, at large festivals, and appearing on many live radio shows. He also worked on some big brand promotions such as Budweiser and Disney. Sadly, the label ran into trouble, the strain of which split the band. Joe works in various genres from Rock to EDM. Former Bass Player for Gerry and the Pacemakers, has also put a new “Live” solo show together. Working with agents in Birmingham and the S. West, the new show has had a fabulous response from audiences who love the unique take on songs from the sixties to present day. He has had original music placed on TV overseas, and has just had a song picked up for a new British film, and composed an original score for a play featured in the RADA Festival. Always recording and writing new material, and through contacts in the States and Europe, is pitching to publishers and major artists.
